Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key player in our construction projects, responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phase, ensuring the project's feasibility, and providing accurate cost estimates. The role involves working on a variety of projects, including commercial, healthcare, and education sectors. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the preconstruction phase, including planning, estimating, and scheduling.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop detailed project plans and timelines.
3. Provide accurate cost estimates for projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and any other relevant factors.
4. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues or obstacles and develop contingency plans to address them.
5. Participate in the tendering process, including reviewing bids, selecting contractors, and negotiating contracts.
6. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure all requirements are met.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure the company's practices are current and competitive.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in preconstruction management, with a proven track record of success in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in estimating, particularly in the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors.
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD, project management, and estimating tools.
8. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
