We are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing/Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our top-tier engineering team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, ranging from residential to commercial, industrial, and institutional. Responsibilities:

As a Plumbing/Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive designs for plumbing and fire sprinkler systems. Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing and drafting comprehensive plumbing and fire sprinkler systems using Vectorworks and AutoCAD software.
2. Collaborating with engineers and other designers to develop and optimize system designs.
3. Conducting detailed calculations to ensure systems meet all necessary codes and regulations.
4. Reviewing and revising designs based on feedback from project managers and clients.
5. Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
6. Providing technical support and troubleshooting during system installation and operation.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve the quality of your designs.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing and fire sprinkler system design.
2. Proficiency in Vectorworks and AutoCAD software.
3. In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, plumbing design, and fire sprinkler systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
8. A degree in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
