Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Plant Material Manager to join our leading manufacturing company. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional who has a strong commitment to enhancing and driving the company's material management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of material management, including inventory control, production planning, material scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a strong understanding of OEMs, financials, annual budget, monthly reporting, and various software applications such as AS400, TS16949, AQP, MRP/ERP, Excel Powerpoint, and Excel Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Plant Material Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing the entire plant material flow process from receiving to shipping.
2. Developing and implementing strategies for effective inventory control and reduction of waste.
3. Coordinating with production departments to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials.
4. Preparing and managing the annual budget, monthly financial reports, and other related documents.
5. Utilizing various software applications for effective material management and reporting.
6. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
7. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, including OEMs, TS16949, and AQP.
8. Collaborating with other department heads to align strategies and objectives.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in inventory control, production planning, material scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Strong knowledge of OEMs, financials, annual budgeting, and monthly reporting.
4. Proficiency in using AS400, TS16949, AQP, MRP/ERP, Excel Powerpoint, and Excel Pivot Tables.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
