Job Details:

As the Plant Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant's maintenance and engineering functions, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all plant maintenance and engineering operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally.
2. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
6. Conduct regular inspections of the plant to identify and address potential issues.
7. Oversee the repair and maintenance of all equipment and systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
8. Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
9. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance and engineering functions.
10. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors as needed.
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering management role in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
4. Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong organizational and planning skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
