Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead all financial operations of the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Drive the financial performance of the plant by analyzing and interpreting financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to the plant management team.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant efficiency and profitability.
- Implement effective cost control measures and strategies to optimize production costs and enhance profitability.
- Oversee procurement activities to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
- Manage the plant's inventory to ensure optimal inventory levels and accurate inventory valuation.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss (P&L) statements to provide a comprehensive view of the plant's financial position.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, and implement internal controls to safeguard the plant's financial assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a controller role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting/forecasting.
- Proven experience in managing plant financials, including production costs, inventory, and pricing.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cost control measures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor KPIs to drive plant efficiency and profitability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic financial guidance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
