Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Plant Controller to join our team in the Scientific industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all the financial operations of our manufacturing plant. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost accounting. This role requires a strong understanding of both US GAAP and IFRS, as well as proficiency in SAP software, Excel, Pivot tables, and vlookups. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all financial operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring they are in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
• Handle month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee inventory accounting and fixed assets management.
• Analyze plant conversion costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborating with management to align financial plans with strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Use SAP software, Excel, Pivot tables, and vlookups to manage and analyze financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in SAP software, Excel, Pivot tables, and vlookups.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting & forecasting, financial statements, variance analysis, inventory accounting, fixed assets, plant conversion costs, and cost accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
