Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Controller to join its growing team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations of the plant, ensuring all financial statements and reports are accurate and timely.
Lead the development and implementation of the plant's annual budget and forecasts, working closely with plant management and corporate finance.
Conduct regular financial analysis, including variance and cost analysis, and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.
Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed within the plant, and implement new policies as needed.
Collaborate with plant management to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Oversee the plant's financial systems, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
Manage the plant's financial risk, ensuring all financial controls are in place and effective.
Provide strong leadership to the plant's finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Work closely with corporate finance to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Job Details

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Plant Controller role.
Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
Experience with ERP systems is required.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
