Job Details:

Our law firm is seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a heavy case load and will be committed to ensuring justice for those who have been injured due to the negligence of others. This role involves handling all stages of litigation from intake through trial, with a focus on personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a difference, a proven track record in personal injury law, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a heavy case load of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
2. Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies.
3. Coordinate law office activity, including delivery of subpoenas.
4. Gather evidence, evaluate findings, and develop strategies and arguments.
5. Make court appearances and argue cases.
6. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.
7. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics).
8. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
9. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
10. Perform pre-trial preparations and defend clients in court.
11. Coordinate with legal assistants and paralegals.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney.
4. Proven background in plaintiff personal injury work and trial preparation.
5. Excellent negotiation skills.
6. Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and to work under pressure.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to build rapport with clients.
10. Outstanding litigation skills, with the ability to conduct trials independently.
11. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
12. Proficient in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, dictation software).
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain the strong, trusting relationships necessary to provide a personalized service to clients.
14. Strong commitment to client services and a passion for winning.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
