PI Associate

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent PI Associate to join our thriving legal team. Responsibilities

As a PI Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Handling a variety of plaintiff personal injury cases from inception through trial.
2. Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.
3. Negotiating settlements on behalf of the plaintiff.
4. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making legal arguments.
5. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to prepare for trial.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to personal injury.
7. Providing legal advice to clients, explaining the law, and providing possible outcomes.
8. Developing strategies to handle cases more effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent PI Associate position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the New York State Bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field, preferably with a focus on plaintiff's personal injury.
4. Proven track record of handling personal injury cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
9. Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure.
10. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
