Job Details:
As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will be joining a dynamic legal team dedicated to providing top-notch legal service in the field of personal injury. This role is instrumental in supporting our attorneys through the litigation process, from initial client intake through trial preparation and disposition. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and other paralegals to ensure all aspects of our cases are handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs in accordance with court practices and requirements in both state and federal courts.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and disposition, ensuring all necessary materials and information are readily available.
• Manage attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
• Support the civil litigation process, including drafting pleadings, briefs, and discovery.
• Coordinate and manage discovery phases, including disclosures, production, and interrogatories.
• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the firm's reputation for integrity and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, preferably in a plaintiff's firm.
• Strong knowledge of court practices and requirements in both state and federal courts.
• Proficient in drafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage attorney calendars and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with all phases of discovery, including disclosures, production, and interrogatories.
• Experience in the maritime industry is a plus, but not required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
