We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, invoicing, and financial record keeping. This position offers an exciting challenge for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Specialist, your key duties will include:

1. Processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner for all company employees.
2. Managing accounts receivable, ensuring all payments are received and accurately recorded.
3. Creating and sending out invoices to clients, tracking payments, and resolving any discrepancies.
4. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and working closely with HR to manage payroll policies and procedures.
5. Preparing financial reports related to payroll, accounts receivable, and invoicing.
6. Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
7. Maintaining confidentiality of all financial data.
8. Regularly reviewing processes and systems to make recommendations for improvements.
9. Assisting with audits and internal reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist position should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in processing payroll, managing accounts receivable, and invoicing.
2. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in payroll software and accounting systems. Experience with Delta and ADP desired.
4. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations related to payroll.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
9. A high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
