We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and protecting our company's intellectual property rights. Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of patent applications to protect the company’s intellectual property rights.
• Conduct thorough patentability and freedom to operate analyses.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on all matters related to patent law, including patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and evaluate potential intellectual property issues and risks.
• Monitor and manage the company's patent portfolio to ensure it aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in patent law and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures related to intellectual property.
• Provide training to company personnel on intellectual property matters.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in patent prosecution, trademark, legal writing, and patent law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international patent law and procedures.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Proficient in using patent databases and other legal research tools.
• Experience in the technology or pharmaceutical industries would be a plus.
