Must enjoy being out of the office, on the street working with clients and distributors.
Must have sound knowledge of end user work in retail and food service.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Beef Sales Representative to join our vibrant team. This is a permanent position and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the sales of our premium beef products to our established clientele, as well as identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in beef sales, a deep understanding of beef processing, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities in the market.
  • Maintain and grow sales with existing accounts through regular customer visits, product presentations and negotiations.
  • Understand and communicate the unique benefits and specifications of our beef products to potential and existing clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in beef sales is a must
  • Proven track record in outside sales, with a focus on new business development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of beef processing and the meat industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
