Operations Manager, Electrical Construction

Mid-sized electrical subcontractor in business 40+ years focused on exceeding customer expectations, quality work, and putting safety first. Average employee tenure of 10+ years

Responsibilities:

• Oversee/manage all electrical construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time/within budget and to the highest quality standards while reporting to the owner
• Develop/implement project strategies, plans, and procedures ensuring alignment with company objectives/industry best practices
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Lead/manage a team of electrical construction professionals fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks
• Develop/maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other key stakeholders
• Foster a safe/healthy work environment ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to
• Commercial, design/build, hospital/healthcare, TI, and residential/mixed-use projects

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction operations/employee management
• Proven experience as a Project Executive, Operations Manager, Chief Estimator/Precon Manager, Director, Principal, or General/Division Manager
• 15+ years of total experience in electrical construction
• Excellent leadership/team management skills to motivate/inspire employees
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members
