Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Manage the company's financial accounting system (QuickBooks) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves.
- Review and process monthly entries for fixed assets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
- Manage the preparation and execution of payroll processes.
- Develop and implement effective internal controls and processes.
- Participate in the development of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, etc. when necessary.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Assist in the development of financial strategy and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with accounts receivable and fixed assets.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly evolving environment.
