We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operation Manager to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving our business forward by ensuring the efficient and effective running of our manufacturing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. With your expertise in process improvement, operations management, quality control, and production planning, you will be the driving force behind our production team's success, setting the stage for our company's continued growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure production schedules are met.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in production.
3. Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity, using analytical skills to assess and implement these changes.
4. Manage the quality control process, setting high standards and ensuring these are met consistently across all production lines.
5. Plan and manage resources effectively to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
6. Coordinate with other department managers to optimize cross-functional operations and activities.
7. Lead, motivate, and develop a high performing team, fostering a positive culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
8. Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with local and national regulations and laws governing business operations.
9. Monitor and manage operational costs, developing strategies to minimize cost while maintaining product quality and worker safety.
10. Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, challenges, and forecasts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in process improvement, quality control, and production planning.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
9. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines for manufacturing operations.
10. Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) will be an added advantage.
