Job Details:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Networking/Storage Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced technology team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex network and storage infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Networking/Storage Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions in line with business requirements.
2. Managing network operations to ensure optimal performance, including servers, routers, switches, and other hardware.
3. Troubleshooting network issues and outages, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
4. Ensuring the security and integrity of our network through the use of advanced security protocols and certifications.
5. Working with various data center infrastructure components, including VXLAN.
6. Overseeing the installation and maintenance of network hardware and software.
7. Administering DNS and DHCP operations.
8. Managing and maintaining our storage infrastructure, including NetApp storage, NAS, NFS, and CIFS.
9. Working closely with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of our network and storage infrastructure.
10. Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in network and storage engineering.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations and storage engineering.
2. Proven experience with network solutions, including routers, servers, switches, DNS, and DHCP.
3. Experience with installations and network troubleshooting.
4. A strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including VXLAN.
5. Security+ and CISSP certifications.
6. ITIL certification would be considered an advantage.
7. Experience with NAS, NFS, CIFS, and NetApp storage.
8. TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
