Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Network Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security infrastructure. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, ensuring the security of our network and protecting our systems from cyber threats. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as a strong understanding of network security principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Manage and maintain our firewall systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor network activity to detect any signs of intrusion or unauthorized access.
  • Use CISCO Meraki and other advanced tools for network optimization and security management.
  • Respond to security incidents and lead the investigation and resolution process.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into network design and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in network security and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve our security posture.
  • Provide training and guidance to other team members on network security best practices.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with network security design, firewall management, and intrusion detection.
  • Proven expertise in conducting security audits and network monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of CISCO Meraki and other network optimization tools.
  • Solid understanding of network administration principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A high degree of professionalism, with a strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our systems and data.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
