We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and passionate Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
As a Network Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
2. Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.
3. Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance.
4. Providing technical support to the team and troubleshooting network problems.
5. Monitoring network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made.
6. Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.
7. Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
8. Coordinating with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Cisco Networking, IP Networking, Network Configuration, Routing Protocols, BGP/OSPF, TCP, Wireless LAN Controllers, Cloud VPN, Cisco routers, and Cisco switches.
2. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3. Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP) is highly desirable.
4. Solid understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
5. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
6. Capable of quickly learning new technologies and procedures, as well as being willing to train others in procedures mastered as part of implementations.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
