Job Summary and Duties:
Work closely with Loan Consultant, Loan Officer, Loan Processor and management to ensure refinance loans are closed in accordance with company procedures, meeting all closing deadlines as established by management. When volume is lower, performs duties of other closing department roles including but not limited to: HOI acquisition, loan funding, Initial CD Prep, Title Review.
Track loans expected to close daily.
Determine current status of loan and communicates with Loan Processor, Loan Consultant, Loan Officer and management until the loan is fully approved and forwarded to closing.
Review documents pertinent to the closing for accuracy and ensures that each meets NASB and agency requirements.
Review each file prior to inputting data for special requirements and underwriting conditions.
Prepare the Initial Closing Disclosure and delivers to the borrower to meet CFPB timing requirements.
Work with settlement agents to coordinate accuracy and completeness of Final Closing Disclosure.
Review closing documents for accuracy and ensures property delivery to settlement agent.
Work with post closing and suspense departments to obtain any items needed on files
Work closely with Closing Manager and Closing Department Supervisors to assess pipelines and allocate work efforts to the appropriate function
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Closing Manager.
Operate in compliance with all Bank Policies and Procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
In lieu of Associates; minimum 2 years Loan Processing, Underwriting, Quality Assurance or any combination of departments may be considered.
Computer literate; experience with Microsoft office products
