Our company is currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Microvellum Engineer to join our thriving Engineering team. This position is an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about Microvellum, AutoCAD, and engineering. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the design, development, and implementation of millwork, cabinetry, and woodwork projects. This role requires a strong understanding of custom millwork, cutbilling, and cutlisting. The Permanent Microvellum Engineer will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop detailed millwork and cabinetry plans using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Conduct cutbilling and cutlisting processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality and aesthetics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microvellum software and designs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on Microvellum and AutoCAD.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Continually strive for improvement in processes and quality of output.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD is essential.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodwork, and custom millwork.
  • Demonstrable experience in cutbilling and cutlisting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactive and innovative approach to work.
