Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MEP Sr. Project Manager to join our team, specializing in Data Center Construction. This is a permanent role that requires a wealth of knowledge in managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for data center construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our projects, from design to completion, ensuring that work is done on time, within budget, and meeting all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of data center construction projects, from the initial design phase through to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of all MEP contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, identifying any issues or delays and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior project management role, specifically within the data center construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects, with a strong focus on data centers.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
