Job Details

Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager (PM) to oversee HVACR, plumbing, and mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance quality standards and applicable regulations. As the PM, you will be responsible for estimating costs, managing resources, and coordinating project schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid reviews for commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Create accurate and competitive estimates to meet financial targets
  • Collaborate with potential clients to finalize work agreements
  • Coordinate with the Construction Coordinator to obtain necessary permits and licenses
  • Manage resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials, while adhering to budget constraints
  • Develop and track project schedules, ensuring timely delivery
  • Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and necessary information for accurate estimates
  • Address customer inquiries and business concerns professionally
  • Monitor progress, prepare detailed reports, and manage invoicing promptly
  • Generate leads and cultivate new customer relationships
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop action plans for the field team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or 2 years of experience in project management and/or estimating in construction or a related industry
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing equipment estimates and projects
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of estimating software, construction procedures, and project management principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage budgets and schedules effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
