Calculates the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available documents.
Executing and inputting take-offs into computerized estimating software
Analyzes project for value engineering options while taking into account specific job conditions that may affect labor and material to be purchased and installed.

6+ years of industrial and commercial electrical estimating experience is required
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in the electrical trade and training
Familiarity with McCormick estimating software or a similar system is required
Ability to interpret all types of electrical systems and technical specifications
Prior experience in tenant improvement projects preferred
Knowledgeable of electrical construction means and methods
Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes required
Ability to handle multiple priorities with interruptions and still meet deadlines
