**Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation, be licensed to practice law in New York or New Jersey, and possess a strong track record of successful case outcomes. Trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of medical malpractice cases, from intake to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records, consulting with experts, and interviewing witnesses.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
  • Stay current with developments in medical malpractice law and medical advancements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records and billing entries.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York or New Jersey State Bar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing medical malpractice law.
  • Strong litigation skills, with trial experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trial experience in medical malpractice cases.
  • Experience working with medical experts and interpreting complex medical records.
  • Familiarity with state-specific laws and regulations governing medical malpractice claims.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
