Job Details

Mechanical Technician
This position is responsible for the mechanical build and start-up of e-mobility machine tool equipment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude and an in-depth knowledge of metric prints.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Perform the mechanical commissioning of our assembly systems and production lines for e-mobility
  • Project support in the team from commissioning in-house to final acceptance of the system at the customer's site
  • Adjustment and control of the geometry on assembly and manufacturing systems with high-precision measuring equipment
  • Perform adjustments and functional tests of the actuators and sensors on the systems
  • Analysis and optimization of processes
  • Recognition of mechanical problems on the machines, development, and implementation of methodical appropriate solutions
  • Tackling and solving technical challenges partly, independently, or together with colleagues
  • Other duties as required

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma minimum; Associates Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology
  • Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
  • Previous CNC machining or machine building experience preferred
  • Previous experience with assembly equipment and robotic cells preferred

General Requirements:
  • Self-motivated; able to work alone or in a team (international environment)
  • Full understanding of the metric system
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Willing to travel domestic and international
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
