Are you a dynamic, driven individual with a proven track record in mechanical project management? We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our thriving construction team. This is a permanent role that provides a unique opportunity to contribute to some of the most innovative and challenging construction projects. You will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, VDC (Virtual Design and Construction), BIM (Building Information Modeling), Project Management, and Construction Management.

Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Managing all aspects of mechanical engineering projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
3. Developing detailed project plans using BIM and VDC technologies.
4. Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
5. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
6. Managing the relationship with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
7. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
8. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards.
9. Providing regular project updates to senior management.
10. Continually improving project management processes and practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification would be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, VDC, BIM, Project Management, and Construction Management.
4. Proven experience in managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
9. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
10. Willingness to travel as needed for project work.
