Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. You will work closely with design engineering, quality assurance, and operations to ensure that the products are manufactured to meet design specifications and company quality standards. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
2. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
3. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
4. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
5. Coordinate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new designs and improve production processes.
6. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
7. Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
8. Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Mechanical Designer in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience with product and process validation, FMEA, and lean manufacturing principles.
4. Strong knowledge of CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
6. High level of technical expertise, including familiarity with manufacturing and processing techniques.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems is a plus.
