Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading company in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of various mechanical systems, focusing on 3D design, hydraulics, and machinery design. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

We design and build custom machinery for the automotive and industrial manufacturing industries. We specilaize in controls, electronics, hydraulics, and fixture design.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize 3D CAD software (Solidworks) to create and modify mechanical designs and assemblies.
• Develop, design, and test hydraulic systems, components, and equipment.
• Design and develop new machinery and systems while optimizing existing machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of mechanical design aspects into overall product design.
• Conduct complex mechanical analyses and simulations to validate the performance and safety of designs.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications of mechanical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Analyze mechanical problems and provide solutions to meet the requirements of the project.
• Participate in design reviews, providing expert input and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of designs and the sourcing of materials.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, development tools, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically with 3D design (Solidworks), hydraulics, and machinery design.
• Proficient in using CAD software, preferably Solidworks.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and machinery design.
• Proven ability to solve complex mechanical problems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
