Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer needed on full time basis to join our dynamic team in Louisburg! You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and products.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize your expertise in SolidWorks to design and develop mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.
2. Conduct detailed engineering design, analysis, and calculations using engineering techniques, and create technical drawings and models.
3. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and can be manufactured efficiently. Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
4. Lead product design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
5. Conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and performance, and make necessary adjustments to designs based on the results.
6. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality and performance.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in mechanical engineering and incorporate them into your work.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must. Experience with other CAD software will be considered an advantage.
