Mechanical Engineer

My client is a leading manufacturing company and is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their growing team.

Compensation Up to $90,000

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
2. Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve production efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, and maintain product quality.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing challenges and develop effective solutions.
4. Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures or inefficiencies and develop appropriate corrective actions.
5. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
6. Prepare technical drawings, specifications of mechanical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
7. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair to ensure that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
8. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and industrial engineering concepts.
4. Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.
