Job Details

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in MEP design, with a focus on plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
  • Experience in designing plumbing systems for healthcare facilities, labs, K12 schools, higher education institutions, and/or government projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Duties:
  • Develop HVAC/Plumbing system designs for healthcare, education, and government projects.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information required for design.
  • Produce plumbing plans, sections, details, and schedules using Revit.
  • Coordinate plumbing designs with other trades and disciplines.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare equipment specifications and schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents.
  • Review submittals and respond to RFIs.
