Mechanical Engineer (EIT/PE) - Security Clearance

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our team. Successful candidates will have 4-6+ years of experience working on Government and Commercial Projects from Concept through Completion, including initial survey to final inspection, and will ensure projects are performed in conformance with cost, schedule, and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to serves as the Mechanical Team Lead on select projects, interact with clients, and coordinate with other disciplines.
Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• EIT or PE License Preferred
• Active Secret Clearance Desired
• 4-6+ years of Mechanical/HVAC Systems Design experience, Perform Calculations, select equipment, and design systems (HVAC Systems, EM&CS Systems, Plumbing Systems, Fire Protection Systems)
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit Software
• Able to Generate As-Built Drawings, Review Shop Drawings, Prepare project specifications and assist engineers and drafters in completing accurate designs.
• Respond to RFI’s, Provide feedback to Project Managers on client problems and needs.
• Conduct surveys of existing conditions and Final Inspection surveys
• Assist with Due Diligence Reports and Quality Control
• LEED AP or LEED GA Preferred, Not Required
