Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical devices, utilizing their expertise in soldering, calibration, and prototyping. They will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills, guiding and mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities:

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot various electromechanical devices ensuring high-quality and timely production.
• Utilize soldering skills to connect components, adhering to J-STD-001 Wiring/Soldering Certification standards.
• Perform calibration of machines and equipment to ensure accuracy and optimal performance.
• Prototype new devices, implementing modifications and improvements based on test results.
• Use a variety of hand tools to perform tasks such as drilling, cutting, and fastening.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing technician role or similar.
• Proficiency in assembly, electromechanical device handling, and soldering.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Proficient in the use of a variety of hand tools.
• Experience in calibration of machines and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical devices.
• Experience in prototyping and testing, with the ability to implement modifications and improvements based on results.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
