Manufacturing Quality Engineer

My client is a global leader in blow molding technologies and the only blow molding machine manufacturer to offer four unique blow molding technologies, blow molds, and associated tooling. As they grow, they are looking to add a Quality Engineer to drive process improvements and quality standards throughout the plant.

Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer will drive continuous improvement and optimization of all manufacturing processes to meet short and long-range plans using the most economical and productive methods. Implement changes and improvements that will maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine the best options for process improvement tactics
• Train employees on new manufacturing practices
• Analyze output under new practices
• Promote efficiency and safety in the plant
• Perform data analysis to lead improvement project work.
• Continually search for best practices and innovative solutions to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and workforce utilization
