Manufacturing Engineering Manager

DUTIES:

• Responsible for team leadership and accountability of maintenance department.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing departments.
• Ensure that production assembly and test methods are optimized and are consistent in meeting our cost targets.
• Develop assembly and detail tooling drawings, floor layouts, and manufacturing cells.
• Check drawings and design work as needed.
• Establish product acceptance criteria through preproduction runs.
• Work with vendors to ensure the most economical manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Assist the Quality Department in the development of procedures and work instructions.
• Responsible for team leadership and accountability for their department

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates or Bachelors degree
• 5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering
• Must have hands on experience in welding or CNC machining environments
• Knowledge of CAD systems and Solid Works
• Strong experience with Lean manufacturing
• Experience with automated equipment
