Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in Swiss engineering and a deep understanding of grinders. This role is for a driven individual who is not afraid to take on challenges and strives to improve processes and productivity.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.
2. Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively, and are responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.
3. Lead and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality.
4. Review and improve existing manufacturing processes and workflows.
5. Implement strategies to improve quality and productivity while reducing costs.
6. Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
7. Design, develop and implement the best process control systems within the production framework.
8. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
9. Develop innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency and reduce downtime.
10. Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
11. Stay informed about the latest manufacturing technologies and systems to improve the production process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Swiss engineering and grinders.
4. In-depth knowledge of production machinery and quality standards.
5. Strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
6. Excellent project management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proficient in MS Office and other manufacturing software.
11. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
12. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma certification would be a plus.
