Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes, focusing on enhancing productivity and efficiency.
2. Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and the overall effectiveness of manufacturing operations.
4. Design and implement process improvements to reduce cost, improve product quality, and increase production efficiency.
5. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within the agreed timeline and budget.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance product quality, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team, ensuring all processes and procedures are executed correctly.
8. Conduct regular analysis of manufacturing processes and operations to identify areas of improvement.
9. Develop and maintain documentation of processes, metrics, and performance reports.
10. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in metal manufacturing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the metal manufacturing industry.
3. Solid knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
4. Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in using various engineering software and tools.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
10. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to metal manufacturing.
