We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, designing and developing new systems, and implementing cost-effective strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tooling, mold designs, and Lean Manufacturing tools. If you're a problem-solver who loves to innovate and has a passion for efficiency, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

1. Evaluate, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Design, develop, test, or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
4. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
5. Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to ensure the quality and timely delivery of raw materials.
6. Implement Lean Manufacturing tools to optimize resource usage and minimize waste.
7. Collaborate with the design team to understand product requirements and develop practical, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
8. Conduct regular system audits, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proficiency in tooling, mold designs, and Lean Manufacturing tools.
4. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.
5. In-depth understanding of manufacturing machinery and quality standards.
6. Strong project management and organizational skills.
7. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
