Job Details:
We are a leading company in the Engineering industry seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, with a special focus on the aerospace, defense, energy, oil, and industrial sectors. Experience with materials such as titanium and nickel is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, monitor and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and workflow.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to optimize product design and manufacturability.
  • Identify and recommend necessary changes in equipment, facility layout, procedures, and manpower to increase production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
  • Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts.
  • Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in the aerospace, defense, energy, oil, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the aerospace, defense, energy, oil, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience with materials such as titanium and nickel.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards for safety and environment in manufacturing processes.
