\We are a leading company in the Manufacturing industry, looking for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with a specific focus on the Automotive Industry. This role involves working closely with our design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure that our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the high-quality standards that our customers expect from us.

Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:

1. Design, implement, monitor, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and workflow.
2. Collaborate with design engineering and production teams to develop, define, and implement product design changes.
3. Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
4. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials, and parts.
5. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
6. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes.
7. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role, preferably within the Automotive Industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
6. Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a range of key stakeholders.
8. Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of statistical analysis and how to use data to improve processes.
9. A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
