We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and synchronize Research & Development endeavors focused on the design and advancement of tooling, automation of equipment, and the creation of new processes. Guarantee the timely achievement of project goals and objectives within allocated time frames and budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

Maintain existing equipment, automation, and vision systems to support production needs.
Understand and execute automation software adjustments and program changes to enhance processes, including platforms like Fanuc, Epson, Keyence, etc.
Research new equipment and automation concepts to inform capital planning, providing detailed analysis.
Monitor Continuous Improvement Projects and Corrective Action projects to uphold current and accurate documentation.
Assist with the APQP process for new product launches.
Lead, plan, and/or participate in projects aimed at enhancing production capabilities and related areas.
Promote adherence to Quality System protocols and other regulatory documents within production, recommending process changes as needed.
Develop, revise, and maintain work instructions, and implement computer-oriented systems for data processing to ensure compliance and record maintenance.
Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing methods leveraging expertise in product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Analyze and strategize workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design equipment layouts for optimal efficiency.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of methods, standards, and policies.
Provide troubleshooting support for manufacturing processes, adjusting process parameters as necessary to meet or surpass cost control objectives.
Adhere to prescribed safety rules and regulations, maintaining a neat and orderly work area.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proficiency in CAD modeling and cost estimating.
4. Rubber molding, adhesive coating, mold tooling and automation experience a preferred
5. Assertive/Self-starter required
6. Experience in robot and vision system programming preferred.
7. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices preferred.
8. Technical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
9. Hands-on experience working on the plant floor, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges.
10. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
11. Team player, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals.
12. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with manufacturing software and systems.
