We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. They will utilize their expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Layout and Product Design, Project Management, and Process Implementation to drive efficiency and productivity across our operations. Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements.
  • Apply working knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
  • Perform process simulations and risk assessments.
  • Manage cost and time constraints.
  • Implement various human factors in manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in the design and creation of manufacturing layouts and production flows.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Layout and Product Design, Project Management, and Process Implementation.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
  • Knowledge of process related standards.
  • Experience in process simulations.
  • Working knowledge of process engineering software packages.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest manufacturing best practices and trends.
