We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our Engineering Department, working on exciting projects in the aerospace sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in our production lines. You will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and utilizing your experience with CNC machine operation.

Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate, develop and improve manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
2. Collaborate with design engineering and other internal teams to understand product requirements and transform them into effective, efficient manufacturing processes.
3. Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
4. Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to reduce process variability and improve product quality.
5. Operate and program CNC machines for production and prototype builds.
6. Design and develop new products and product mock-ups alongside the research and development team.
7. Oversee the manufacturing process for new products, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations and standards.
8. Implement effective project management strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
9. Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
10. Provide technical support and training to staff and technicians to ensure optimal production quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
4. Extensive experience in CNC machine operation and programming.
5. Proven experience in project management and the ability to lead and manage projects from conception to completion.
6. Proficiency in valve systems, with a deep understanding of their design, function, and application.
7. Demonstrated experience in product development, including the ability to design, prototype, and bring a product to market.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
9. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
10. High level of proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.
