Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Controller to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in our organization, providing financial leadership and analytical support to our manufacturing operations. As a Manufacturing Controller, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information. The role will involve a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
• Manage and monitor all manufacturing costs, inventories, and variance analyses while providing insightful financial analyses to drive improvements in manufacturing performance.
• Develop and manage the annual manufacturing budget, as well as forecasts and financial plans.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with the finance team to review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Participate in the development of strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, ability to create and present detailed reports.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a hands-on and proactive approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
