Manager of Architecture

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Architecture to join our team of engineering professionals. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and coordinate architectural design and project management activities within our Engineering department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD 3D, Revit, and will be certified. This role will have a significant impact on the success of our projects, and we are looking for someone who is ready to take on this exciting challenge.

Responsibilities

As the Manager of Architecture, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all architectural design activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
2. Leading the development and implementation of design strategies, ensuring they align with company objectives and meet client needs.
3. Managing a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
4. Collaborating with other departments such as Engineering, Planning, and Construction to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs.
5. Utilizing AutoCAD 3D and Revit to create detailed architectural designs and plans.
6. Ensuring all architectural designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
7. Managing client relationships, communicating effectively to understand their needs and expectations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
8. Participating in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Manager of Architecture role, you must have:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Certification.
3. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing architectural design projects.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and Revit.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
6. Knowledge of ADA building requirements
7. Diversified experience working with school districts, private and public sectors
