Manager - Civil Engineering Services

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - Civil Engineering Services to join our fast-paced team. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of civil engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Lead the design and planning of complex civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and site development.
• Ensure all designs and plans are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure the proper implementation of design plans.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
• Continually review and improve engineering processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree would be a plus.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site design.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team of engineers.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome project challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• A professional engineering (PE) license is required.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
