We are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including but not limited to palletizers, conveyors, and welding machines.
3. Collaborate with the production team to understand and address equipment issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including repairs, replacements, and tests.
5. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions for the enhancement of maintenance procedures and practices.
6. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and preventative maintenance.
3. Experience with palletizers and other manufacturing equipment.
4. A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a range of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with staff at all levels.
7. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement preventative measures.
8. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within the required timeframes.
9. A relevant technical qualification is preferred.
