Job Details

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team in the fast-paced Manufacturing industry. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a team that is committed to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Mechanical Maintenance, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and PLCs. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

1. Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
2. Performing preventative maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure continuous operation.
3. Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical systems and equipment.
4. Working with pneumatics and hydraulics, maintaining and repairing as necessary.
5. Programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLCs.
6. Implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the production process.
7. Collaborating with the production team to understand their needs and provide appropriate technical support.
8. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
9. Documenting all maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
10. Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and PLCs.
3. A strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and equipment.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
8. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
9. A relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field would be a plus.
10. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
