Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify the root cause of issues through systematic troubleshooting procedures.
Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts to restore equipment functionality promptly.
Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to assist in troubleshooting and repair activities.
Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts.
Implement safety protocols and adhere to regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in maintenance technology and participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
